With just under 7 miles of trails to explore, the Lehigh Parkway Path in Allentown provides outdoor recreation opportunities just a short distance from downtown. The crushed stone path meanders through the 500-acre Parkway following the Little Lehigh Creek. Users can explore the trail and the numerous points of interest along the path including covered bridges, the Museum of Indian Culture, Little Lehigh Fly Shop, and the Lil’ Le-Hi Trout Nursery. Running and walking are common along this path, while fishing and disc golf remain popular throughout the whole park. This moderately traveled trail uses several bridges to take users on both sides of the creek, creating easy opportunities for loops around the park.
